The great thing about home inspection is that they are performed by an independent agent. They do not work for the homeowner, but for the buyer. This means that you are going to get a true inspection and not just something that the owner what you know. It is not recommended that you take any information that is more than two years old even if the homeowner just recently had their inspection done. You do not want to end up in more debt because of an inspection done by a family friend.
A home inspection should cover every area of the home. They will check out the foundation and the roof. The electrical box as well as the outlets will also be inspected. The inspector will look in corner of the home. They will give you a written report about all the different finding s of the home being purchased when the inspection is finished.
