Homes that look dirty on the outside are often overlooked. That is because people figure that if it looks terrible on the outside, then there is no way the inside will be okay. You want people to notice the outside of the home. They should be drawn to home by the way the outside looks. The lawn and care of the home and really tell potential buyers of how well the rest of the home is taken care of as well.
Even if you are not in the market to sale your home, you could be costing someone else a sale. That is because buyers will look at a whole neighborhood to see what they will be moving into. You should respect your neighbors enough to maintain your home to the best of your ability. This is often why there are restrictions when moving into certain districts. Restriction can make sure that everyone is doing their part to keep the neighborhood looking great. Everyone can benefit from guidelines and regulation as long as they are actually enforced fairly.
